Finished! I managed to get the final layer of resin on last night 😁 16 coasters, all sanded, oiled with food grade mineral oil and felt feet to protect tables etc. Ready to go to their new home.

Day 2 of coaster making. The mica coloured resin is on the coasters, today I can put a layer of clear resin over the top of what I put on yesterday and, create waves, tomorrow I will finish them off with a whole top coat of Apex Resin CurePro for a glossy, heat resistant and food safe finish! Why is it, the smaller pieces take the longest time!

Really happy to be back in our messy studio! It's been way too hot to work with resin, we had a couple of flash cures so thought it best to wait for the temperature to drop.
Thank you Lou @createandbloomcrafts for the tip of plunging the bottle of hardener into very cold water, still needed to do that today!
